Why You need to use a professional wedding photographer Too often these days I get couple coming to me after their wedding and saying they wish they had used a professional photographer for their wedding day. Its also difficult to distinguish who is actually a pro in todays market which is a little saturated as there are many people out there claiming to be professional but who in fact may just have the equipment. Trust me you need a professional. Especially for a wedding. This is a high pressure job with no second chances. Its not like you can go back the next day and redo it. So before you go and choose the cheapest option with as many frills as possible with different edits and books and canvasses to make it look more attractive make sure you are 100 percent happy with the work they are producing first. Have a look at an entire wedding shoot. This is after all what you are paying for. Are you happy with the quality of ALL of the photos? Did they capture eveything you would want ... The last shoot I had proved to be a challenging one it was a dear friend of mine who got married, this was my first time ever doing a late wedding in winter, where light was short at the end of the day but i was still up for the challenge ready to  take on anything that came my way that day, from making sure the bride stayed calm , making sure they stuck to scheduled times to rushing off to catch the best light as quickly as we could to capture the most amazingly breath taking photos for the bride and groom to cherish for ever. I loved every minute of it and it was such a blessing to be able to capture their moments for them from the pre ceremony prayer, the I DO's to the Love that flowed and showed in all the images.  With a stunning venue _ Torwoodlea Lodge in New Hannover, Amazing Music by DJ Rob, the atmosphere was amazing and all the guests sure had fun. More information about this day can be found on my Facebook Group :)  Continue reading →

Wedding Photography Durban does not mean that we only photograph weddings in Durban as we have photographed weddings all over South Africa and abroad.  It just means that we are based in Durban.  When possible, we like to meet up with our bride and groom before the actual wedding to discuss their photography requirements. This allows us to get to know each other before the big day so that everybody is comfortable. Not only that, but you also get to browse through our portfolio of work and see for yourself the quality of our albums and prints. On the wedding day, we like to take a step back and let the day unfold, while capturing all of the special moments. When necessary, we may direct you for specific photos we would like to get and will advise on group and family photo posing. We encourage our newly weds to take some time out from their busy wedding day and enjoy a creative shoot. This allows us to capture special moments between the bride and groom before the reception ... Continue reading →
