Paddy & Megans' Intaba View Wedding

Paddy & Megans' Intaba View Wedding

by Dee During on Jun 11, 2014

My heart <3  - I loved every bit of this shoot but if I had to choose two things I loved the most they were the amazing choice of colours by Megan and the soft and tender way that Paddy looked at his bride.  His face expressed so much as he anticipated his bride-to-be coming down the aisle - and his bride.  Voluptuous and beautiful and very serene. Also, coming from the Cape, it was my first time in the Valley of a Thousand Hills.  Really beautiful area with impressive views of the rolling hills.  Intaba View was a stunning venue for the wedding.  Perches on top of a hill with almost 360 degree views it comes with a quaint little chapel and the food is excellent.  Also great for photographs because of the views and the railroad nearby.  LOVE railway tracks.  Possibly because my photographer made us walk down one on our wedding day.  Stuck with me ever since.   Continue reading →

Mareika en Mieg Bushveld wedding Shoot

by Nedine on May 29, 2014

I had the great privilege of being the photographer on Mareika and Mieg's BIG wedding day.  I have to say, the setting was one of the most beautiful I have ever seen. The ceremony played out on the Sabie River Banks which borders the Kruger National Park. They said I do while elephants were grazing the plains in the back ground. I wish Mareika and Mieg a beautiful marriage... Some pics of the wedding below    Continue reading →

Tash’s Kitchen Tea Buitengeluk

Tash’s Kitchen Tea Buitengeluk

by Laura Leigh on Mar 4, 2015

Tash’s Kitchen Tea Buitengeluk Laura Leigh wrote: “Tash’s kitchen tea was held at the gorgeous Buitengeluk venue in Broadacres. It was such a treat to photograph! I walked into the gorgeous gardens at Buitengeluk to be surrounded by all the beautiful decor the bridesmaids had put together for her, they even put up a swing! The bridesmaids had a whole bunch of games for Tash to play, along with some Q&A to see how well her groom knew her and they scored almost 100%!! It was so lovely to see all these ladies coming together to share such a special day. If this is the amount of effort they put into a kitchen tea I can’t wait to see what the wedding will be like”. Chantelle and Nicky Wedding at Memoire

Chantelle and Nicky Wedding at Memoire

by Laura Leigh on Apr 22, 2015

On a very overcast day in Gauteng a radiant and positively glowing couple got married at Memoire. I heard from other photographers that on this day it rained at all their weddings in and around the area. Although the clouds were on top of us it only started to rain once we stepped foot inside the reception. #blessed. So much effort went into creating such a gorgeous wedding. I loved their colour scheme of grey, blush pink, white and green accents. A highlight for me were the hand made hot water bottle wedding favours. The theme of this, as well as the gifts for the men which were chilli bites was ” Die Liefde is warm”. How cute is that?! Chantelle’s garter was also exquisite and was made by one of her bridesmaids. Another highlight (there were so many) was when Nicky sang a song he wrote for Chantelle. It was gorgeous and filled with so much emotion! These two were such a joy to photograph, not only are they both absolutely gorgeous, they are also one of the nicest, ... Continue reading →

Beautiful Baby Shower Photography

Beautiful Baby Shower Photography

by Sebastian Aitken on Jun 14, 2016

Beautiful Baby Shower Photography in the Winelands of Constantia Recently, I had been asked to do the photography for a Baby Shower that was held at Little Stream in Constantia, Cape Town - A Beautiful little eatery located in the forest of Constantia's winelands. I knew that it would be an amazing setup, which of course would make for excellent shots - So without a second thought, I agreed to do the shoot. This was my first occasion to do Baby Shower Photography, so needless to say, the nerves were on edge - But that did not keep me from doing the photography, even if it meant me being the only male among a large group of women, celebrating Michelle's Baby Shower. The Mom-to-Be   Michelle, the Mom-to-be as seen above is very crafty and creative, so with those attributes and keen family members and friends at her side, the event and setup had been done perfectly - the layout, decor and food, all amazing! Treats and Food The Treats table caught my attention ... Continue reading →
